Hwaseong seongyeok uigwe A white paper, Hwaseong Seongyeok Uigwe (Data of Hwaseong Fortress Building), was published in 1801, Soon after the Dying of King Jeongjo. It's 10 volumes and proved priceless with the reconstruction hard work in 1970 after the fortress had been seriously ruined in the Korean War. The volumes have been divided by issue, with the primary masking the programs for setting up, like blueprints and a list of supervisors.

Haenggung Palaces are (or were being) temporary palaces used by the king and royal family members to retreat to in instances of war, and Hwaseong Haenggung Palace is the most important of all of them.}
